Dr Craig Finberg
South African born Craig graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2001 earning a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in physiology. In 2008 he graduated with a Masters degree in Chiropractic from the University of Johannesburg.
At present, Craig is in private practice working out of Rosebank, Johannesburg.
Conditions of interest include; headaches, neck and back pain, shoulder, arm and elbow pain, hip, knee and ankle pain, sciatica, arthritic pain and infantile colic. The corporate arena has also proven to be of interest where Craig has run a number of wellness days aimed at assessing the spinal health and work station set up of company employees and employers.
His passion in promoting health and spinal well being led to Craig designing a unique and revolutionary orthopaedic work chair which was patented in October 2011.
Dr Brett Kavonic
Dr Brett Kavonic graduated from DUT in 1999 after completing his Master’s Dissertation in Management of Chronic Neck Pain, achieving his Masters Degree in Tech: Chiropractic. He then further specialized in Sports Injuries achieving his Post Graduate ICSSD in Sports Chiropractic through the Federation International Chiropractic Sportiff (FICS) based in Switzerland.
He ran the University of Johannesburg Dean of Faculty’s Practice , as well as serving as a Clinician at UJ, before going overseas and practicing there for a number of years.
He served as Sports Doc at a number of Sports events including the Ocean Action, SA Soft Ball Championships, ATP Junior Tennis Championships, as well as serving as part of the Medical Task team at the All African Games. More recently he served as one of the Sports Docs at the Squash World Masters, and in 2022 he had the privilege of serving as the Chirosport Doc at the Olympic tiered International World Powerlifting Championships hosted at SunCity.
He currently has two practices in the Glenhazel and Fairmount areas.
